Welcome to SpinAName! I'm sunsonsu, a developer from Thailand who believes that drawing names, picking raffle winners, or making a quick decision doesn't always have to be boring. So I built SpinAName to turn the same old random draws into something fun, lively, and full of excitement. Whether you're a teacher who wants to call on students fairly, an event host running a giveaway, or just a group of friends trying to decide where to eat, I designed this tool to add a splash of color, a bit of suspense, and a playful, game-like feel to every single draw.

Features and Game Modes
Lucky Wheel: The classic spinner everyone knows and loves. Just add your names, give it a spin, and let it pick — drawing names the familiar way.
Mystery Cards: Drawing names with a fortune-telling twist. Everyone's name is placed face down, so just pick the card you like to reveal the lucky winner.
Gachapon Machine: A capsule-toy machine right on your screen. Simply turn or tap the knob and watch a capsule drop out with the lucky name inside.
Comedy Race: A thrilling little racing mini-game that turns your names into characters sprinting down the track. Cheer along and see whose name crosses the finish line first.
Scratch Ticket: Pick a ticket from the deck and scratch off the silver coating with your finger or mouse to uncover the winner underneath, just like a real scratch-off card.
Fortune Stick: Based on the bamboo fortune-stick cylinder found at Thai temples. Hold to shake it (or shake your phone) until one stick falls out with the winner's name on it.

Data Security & Privacy
SpinAName takes your privacy seriously. Every draw and every name you add is processed inside your own browser, on your own device, so your lists are not sent to a server or saved in the cloud. The only exception is a live QR Session, where names that participants submit pass through our server so they can appear on the host's screen.
Supporting the Site
If you enjoy SpinAName and want to support it, the easiest way is simply to keep using it. Every time I see that people are actually using the site, it's all the motivation I need to keep developing it further. On top of that, the site shows a few small ads that you can close, which help cover the server costs.
